Children ask the best questions. What would you ask if you could chat with someone who lived through one of the most important periods in history? For one afternoon, you can do just that as two very special people who grew up during the Second World War come to Roundabout. You’ll have the chance to ask about their experience of rationing, family life and things you’ve always wondered about the war. This event is a must for families and those who enjoy a chat….no time machine required.
Part of Imperial War Museums’ We Were There programme, which gives people a chance to meet eyewitnesses of conflict from veterans to evacuees and aid workers to refugees.
