Charlie Josephine

Charlie Josephine is a writer, director and actor. Their latest play, ‘I, JOAN’ opened to great acclaim at Shakespeare’s Globe in Summer 2022.

Charlie is currently under commission for new plays with the RSC and NT Connections. They are currently writing a play as the Headlong Writer-In-Residence for 2022. Upcoming work includes ‘BIRDS AND BEES’ which will open at the Sheffield Crucible on 25^th January 2023 before touring with Theatre Centre, ‘FLIES’ which will open at the Shoreditch Town Hall in February 2023, with Boundless Theatre, and ‘ONE OF THEM ONES’ which will tour between March and May with Pentabus. They are also currently developing a new feature biopic with Salon Pictures.
