Over the past seven years we’ve commissioned 150 of the nation’s finest playwrights to write mini plays about their home towns from Bristol to Belfast, Cardiff to Coventry and Nottingham to Newcastle.
We’ve collected all these plays in a giant interactive map of the UK right here at Latitude. Pick a place, pop on some headphones and discover somewhere new with a tour guide with a difference.
You can explore Leeds with Zodwa Nyoni, walk the streets of Liverpool with Helen Blakeman, hear James Graham’s tales of Mansfield, Mike Bartlett on Oxford, Zia Ahmed singing for Cricklewood and lots, lots more.
Stories from all over the UK will be available to listen to throughout the day. We’ll also be inviting some of our favourite writers to come and perform their stories live, and inviting you to share your memories of home.
We’ll post the full timetable of events here closer to the time.
A celebration of home. Come and chill out. Listen to a story. Share your story. We’re open from 7pm to 11pm on Thursday and 11am to 7pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
