Louise works as an actor and journalist. She is an alumnus of the Royal Court Playwriting course. Her first play, POPE JOAN, was commissioned and produced by the NYT in August 2013. She cowrote and produced The Charles Dickens Show, a children’s history chat-show for the BBC. Her work as an actor includes Molly Hooper in SHERLOCK, A DISCOVERY OF WITCHES, CLIQUE, BACK, GOMORRAH, RIPPER STREET and BLEAK HOUSE. On stage she has appeared in CONSTELLATIONS (West End), HUSBANDS AND SONS (National Theatre), UNCLE VANYA (Sir Peter Hall for ETT), MISS JULIE (Citizens Theatre), THE HERD (Bush), TROJAN WOMEN (Gate) and ARCADIA (Bristol Old Vic).
