Emily previously worked at Curtis Brown in the Theatre, Film and TV department before interning at Origin Pictures and Heyday Films and working as a script-reader for Blueprint Pictures.
She left film and TV to train at the Young Vic in theatre directing. This led to her being the assistant director on THE ISLAND NATION at the Arcola Theatre.
Before this, Emily trained on the Acting Foundation Course at RADA before graduating from UCL with a BA in Philosophy.
Alongside directing she is also doing an MSc in Comparative Political Thought at SOAS and is on the Soho Theatre Writers Lab.
