Alex is a NYC-based actor originally from Mississippi.

New York credits include KENTUCKY (EST/P73) UTILITY (TheAmoralists/Rattlestick) SEAWIFE (Naked Angels) THE IN-BETWEEN (Noor Theatre) MARY KATE OLSEN IS IN LOVE, A CAUTIONARY TALE, THESE SEVEN SICKNESSES (The Flea Theater). In addition to acting, he is also a producer of Naked Angels' monthly podcast "Naked Radio" and formerly co-produced the hit late night show #serials@theflea.

Alex is a member of the NYC folk band, "The Lobbyists" whose original music premiered SEAWIFE, written by Seth Moore and directed by Liz Carlson, and was nominated for a 2016 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Music. SEAWIFE was produced by Naked Angels with development at New York Stage and Film, Cape Cod Theater Project and Rhinebeck Writers Retreat. Alex has participated in workshops and readings at LCT3, Rattlestick, New York Theatre Workshop, Ma-Yi, Women's Project, Playwrights Horizons, Cherry Lane, Exit Pursued by a Bear, The Lark,  and The Ensemble Studio Theatre, where he is a lifetime member.

He received an M.F.A in Acting from the University of Virginia. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife Bonnie and their mini-dachshund, Maggie.
